Saturday, Febuary 1, why not join us on a pleasant snowshoe hike on the trails in Summerstown.  The trail goes along varied terrain and shouldn’t be too difficult. A good part of the trail is in the woods which will keep us out of the wind. If you are quiet during the hike, you may be lucky enough to see deer, partridges or rabbits. If not, you will see only their tracks in the snow.

We will meet in the parking lot at 9:00 a.m. for a departure at 9:10 a.m. Park your car in the parking lot.

Dress in layers according to the weather.  Bring snowshoes and your crampons, just in case. Remember to bring water, even in winter.

Take Highway 20 west towards Ontario. This will become Highway 401; take exit 804 to CR27 north. Travel 1.5 km; the parking will be on your left.

Carpooling :
