Snowshoe Hike in Summerstown

Leaders: Claude & Michèle

Level Intermediate (Levels of difficulty for hikes)

Distance:  7 km

This is a nice snowshoe trail, not too difficult. I hope you will enjoy it. The terrain is varied. A good part of the trail is in the woods and keeps us out of the wind. If you are quiet during the walk, you may see dears, partridges or rabbits. If not, you will see only their tracks in the snow.

We will meet at 9:00 a.m. for a departure at 9:10 a.m.

Dress in layers according to the forecast. Bring water, even in winter.

Directions

Take Highway 20 west towards Ontario. Then Highway 401; exit 804; CR27 north; 1.5 km; the parking is on your left.

Park your car in the parking lot.

REPORT:

All 8 participants had a nice hike. It was unfortunate that we didn't see any animals. But we saw lots of tracks

Claude
