Snowshoe Hike in Rivière-Beaudette

Leader: Sylvain Cardinal

Tail leader : Denise Auclair

Level: Easy (Levels of difficulty for hikes)

Distance:  About 5 km

Let's start winter with an easy hike on the trails of Rivière-Beaudette. We will walk a distance of 5.1 km, with snowshoes or good boots if the snow cover is too thin. Those who don't like snowshoes could also walk with crampons on this trail.

We will meet at 9:00 a.m. for a departure at 9:10 a.m.

Direction

Take Highway 20 west towards Ontario. Take Exit # 2, turn right on Main street, turn left on Sauvé, cross the bridge, turn right on Chemin Ste-Claire, and then left on rue Léger.

The firts building on the left is a municipal garage with a red roof.

Park your car in the parking lot.

If you are new to snowshoeing you will be very welcome. There will be plenty of experienced members to help you. We just ask that you familiarize yourself with the bindings of your snowshoes and know how to put them on and take them off.

If you do not have snowshoes yet, but would like to try out the sport, you can rent a pair at different sports places in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges area.

Please take note that pets are not allowed on hikes.
