On Saturday June 27, Hélène will help us discover a little corner of paradise in Au Diable vert!

Au Diable Vert is an outdoor site perched in the lower alpine region at a 1000 foot altitude in Glen Sutton, Quebec. Nestled between Mount Sutton, Owl’s Head and Jay Peak, the site offers views of the valley and the mountains that can take your breath away in summer or winter.

Although only an hour and a half from Montreal, you will have the impression that you are a thousand kilometers from the city and it’s noise and pollution.

We will have numerous opportunities to discover incredible views in a network of trails spread over 320 acres of mountainous terrain. These views will help you master the challenge of the climb. We will walk the yellow trail, then go along the Estrie trail up to Lake Mohawk. This will make a loop on the cliffs of a distance of 3.7km. We will then follow the green trail and return to Lake Mohawk. (9km)

Bring lots of water, wear good hiking shoes and bring trekking poles

At the end of the day, we will be able to celebrate with a glass of wine at a local hotel. Those who wish can also stop along the route for some more wine tasting as this is part of the wine route.

It is important to note that dogs are allowed on the trails of the Diable Vert but not with our club. Those who have a fear of dogs should think about their participation on this hike.
