We will divide in two groups.

The faster hikers will join Christine. Their speed will be about 4.5 km/h.

The other hikers will join Claude and Michèle. Their speed will be about 3.5 km/h.

The hike will begin at 09:10.

I will be the tail leader. If you need assistance, you can reach me at (514) 655-6247 or simply wait till I get to you.

I recommend that you carry at least 500 mm of water, wear proper hiking shoes, poles are optional.

After the hike, you can share good things to eat and drink. You will be bringing those good things. There are pic-nick tables at the parking on chemin Sainte-Marie.

REPORT:

Under partly cloudy skies, with a temperature of 9°C, we had a very nice hike. 20 members came to the hike, but only 17 found the rendezvous point in time.

Some members had a hard time finding the rendezvous point. So, in the poster, I added the distance between HWY 201 and the parking. That should help.

All participants were of the intermediate level, so they all joined Michèle. Christine went off all alone ahead of us. She walked the 12 km in 2h10, giving her a speed of 5.4 km/h. Bravo Christine. The other 16 participants made it to the parking on St-Georges by 10:45. That gives them an average speed of 3.8 km/h. Then 12 of us turned back and headed to Chemin de la Mairie.

At 12:18 nine members shared wine, cheese and fresh vegetables. That was very good.
