You are invited to join the  Ramblers Association  for a  fun long weekend on La Route des sommets.

We will leave on Saturday, June 21st and be back on Tuesday, June 24th.

We have reserved rooms and cottages at L'Auberge Aux toits rouges.
As it is a very busy weekend, it is imperative that  interested people reserve their room/ cottage as soon as possible. You should do this before the end November by calling Mr Charles Lachance, the inkeeper. The telephone number ist: 1-866-559-2999. Specify that you are member of the club The Ramblers Association.

Update: Beginning of December: all rooms in the inn and cottages are booked. The innkeeper still has 3 bedrooms in another house, at about 1.5 km from the inn. It is still possible to book one of these rooms. Meals could be taker at the Auberge.

A carpool will be organised in June. If you wish to  carpool, please register by clicking  on the LIST.
Registering will help us to know  how many people have reserved. It will also allow the innkeeper to rent out any unreserved  rooms by the end of November.

If you wish to share a room / cottage, send us an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we will try to put you in touch with other members.
However, neither the club  nor the innkeeper will be responsible for pairing.

First excursion

We will hike up  Mount-Mégantic (1105 m) along the   Sentier du Mont Mégantic; and then up to Mount Saint-Joseph (1065 m) This is an intermediate level hike with some difficult sections according to the Park Journal. The hike is magical with a brook cascading throughout the ascent; many stones are covered with foam and the plants which emerge between the stones in the middle of water make it look  like a Zen garden.

Second day

We will hike Mount Gosford (1193 m); this mountain is of intermediate difficulty with a ascent of 560 meters (1837 '); the hike will last  approximately 4 hours.  On the  Canada-American border,  Mount Gosford (1193 m)  is considered the 7th  highest sommet in Quebec.

More details will follow for these hikes.
