Home to American beavers, turtles, woodpeckers and red foxes, it offers 7 km of bike paths and 12,2 km of hiking trails as well as a 1.5 km discovery trail.  Many of the trails are shared between bikes and hikers.

We will walk toward the Bois-Francs Area via the Sentier des Érables noirs. An educative stop on the  Sentier des Attraits will let you discover certain forest features with your five senses, before turning back toward the japanese footbridge , a curiosity, in the Secteur des Champs. Built up on piles, it goes from one side to the other like a labyrinth. According to an Eastern belief, one avoids the bad spirits thus, because they take the right ways. It also makes it possible to avoid the trampling of the most fragile underwoods.  Then we will move towards the Peninsula Sector where we will walk on the banks of the River. After a stop at Maison du Ruisseau, we will continue towards the Sentier des Asters to return to the parking.

On site, you can  find many picnic tables and benches.

REPORT:
