Carpooling:

Rendezvous at 8:20 a.m. in the parking lot at Hudson Shopping Centre. Departure at 8:30 a.m.

REPORT:

We had 29 people in attendance for today's outing in Pointe-Claire.  The weather was overcast, cool and windy but it did not rain during the walk.

We left at 9:10 from the parking lot at The Plaza Pointe-Claire and returned at 11:45.  The walk was approximately 11.1 kilometres.

At about 11:00, 6 people left the group upon returning to the north side of the highway as they decided to walk back to the parking lot which was an option that I offered them at that point as we had about 45 minutes remaining in the walk.

The pace was fairly quick and we did have to stop on various occasions to reduce the lag between the leader and the rear group.

The general opinion was that the walk was interesting and done at a good pace.  Ed Sears was the leader at the rear of the group.

Afterwards, 9 people had a post-walk meal at the Ye Old Orchard Pub.
