REPORT:

September 15th 2013 Rigaud hike:

30 members started the hike on a fabulous September morning and 24 finished the full hike of 9.4 km in just over 3 hours. As there are a lot to turns to make on various trails in the forest and the group tended to be stretched over a distance in heavily wooded terrain, the 24 hikers stayed together rather than splitting into two groups. We only had two leaders, 3 or more would have been better and enabled to slower folks to have more rest stops!

The route we took is called "La 31" as it goes up to the cross first. This route provides shorter options for people who do not have all morning to do the hike, two members left at 4.5 km and four members left at 5.3 km.

The returning 24 members all enjoyed the hike.

There were no incidents to report.

sign no animals  Please take note that pets are not allowed on hikes.

Members should have their card at each hike. The membership fees have to be paid by check or by Interac.
