On Sunday July 21, come join us on a ramble alongside the Beauharnois canal.  Monique will lead this 10-11 km hike on paved paths and flat grounds.

We will walk on the bicycle path which follows the Beauharnois canal for about an hour then retrace our steps for the return. ( approx. 10 -11 km total)

On the return, we will stop for a break near a picnic area.

After the hike, you are invited to join us for a light lunch in a local restaurant (in St-Thimothée) yet to chosen.

The paved bicycle path winds its way past a pond and a marsh and follows the canal. A third of the path is in a wooded area so bikers and walkers can enjoy some shade.

Bring sunscreen insect repellent and water.

Direction:
Take Highway 30 towards St-Timothée.  Then take Boul. Pie XII toward ''pont de St-Louis-de-Gonzague'' (do not cross the bridge).  The parking is on the left side, before the bridge.
